A Taste of Greece

Recipes, Cuisine & Culture

The book represents a collaborative, philanthropic effort between HRH Princess Tatiana, author Diana Farr Louis and the Athens-based NGO Boroume (We Can), the only non-profit in Greece dedicated to reducing food waste and fighting malnutrition. Together they bring over 40 well-known personalities from across the world to share their favourite recipes and memories to give life to their personal connection with this beautiful Mediterranean country and shed light on its multi-faceted appeal. This book represents a collaborative effort of young, passionate men and women dedicated to making a difference in the lives of struggling Greeks.

Having been born to multicultural parents and lacking a sense of national identity, food has always played an integral part in forming my cultural identity. Moving to Greece with my husband, Prince Nikolaos, has added a new chapter to my culinary identity and allowed me to define what ‘home’ tastes like. Through this project I have fallen in love with Greece and its exquisite tastes all over again.
